Primroses

Last year there was one primrose plant right next to our fence. This spring I noticed several more in the flowerbed at the edge of our backyard. Maybe they were there already last year too, covered by all them tall weeds, and I just didn't notice them. Now I pulled out the weeds around them, and the roses I planted last summer, to give them a chance to grow and prosper (and be seen).

Of course, the apple trees also are looking more and more brilliant as more flowers open their petals. Yesterday evening they were already looking so nice, especially as the evening sun rays hit them diagonally.

Flower in the neighborhood

Hackberry is nicely blooming, it's sweet scent floating in the air. Forget-me-nots are growing along the edge of the sidewalk. Primroses have popped up in our backyard flowerbed.

Red and yellow

Today some of our tulips were happily bathing in the sun, flowers fully opened, while others are still only buds. We also have some primroses growing in our yard.

Wood anemonies

Today was an absolutely lovely warm sunny day and we were out most of the day, washing cars, cooking, and sowing a whole lot of different seeds in small pots. We now have basil, oregano, dill, parsley, radishes, aubergines, peppers, cucumbers, zucchinis, coriander, sun flowers, marigolds and lavender in the pots. At least. I might have frogotten something.

Our yard has all sorts of flowers blooming now. I was totally surprised when I noticed the patch of wood anemonies on our yard. They are way ahead of their normal schedule!
