Flowers in our yard

Now we finally have some summer again. May be too late for most of our garden, but at least strawberries are doing good, as is our surprise violet and the hosta undulatas. The flowers I planted in May are growing in one pot, but not producing flowers yet, and nothing seems to be happening in the other flower boxes. I guess the birds have been eating our seeds.

Flowers in the neighborhood

Pictures from another walk around the neighborhood. A couple houses down the neighbors have a pretty tricycle attached to their fence, with violets in the baskets.

Violets

Our violets went all viral when they got some rain after the dry heatwave. They're, like, Finns ;)

Green on the trees

Today was so far the warmest day of this spring. I noticed small leaves starting to sprout in birches and other trees.

We planted some tomatoes, an eggplant and a medina chili plant. We also got some violets and marigilds for our patio.
